Refund Policy

In Order to Process Your Refund Please read the following guide and instructions.

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Payments) Regulations 2013 you are entitled to cancel your order within 7 days from the date after you received your order.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it within 14 days of delivery . It must also be in the original packaging and labels.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges are not accepted. You would be required to return your item then repurchase if desired.


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Faulty Items

If your item is faulty or damaged you will be offered a refund, repair or replacement if requested within 30 calendar days from the date you received the order. We will also refund any reasonable postage charges you may have incurred.


Shipping charges are non-refundable. You will be refunded for the value of the returned items, less the delivery charges. P&P is only refunded if your items were faulty/incorrect on delivery.

If you received free shipping as part of any of our promotions and then return the items, your refund / credit will be minus the cost of the shipping.

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Village Boutique, Unit 1, Last Drop Village, Hospital Road, Bolton, BL7 9PZ. You are responsible for the return postage costs.

If you are shipping an item you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

To Process Your Return

Please explain your return reasons on the reverse of the invoice, and place it with all items you are returning inside your parcel. Items returned without this information will not be processed.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment ,however it may take up to 10 business days for this to be displayed on your billing statement. This is due to the length of time taken for the banks to handle the refund request.

Rejected Return

If your return is rejected for any reason, you have 7 days from rejection to pay for your shipping back to you, if you fail to pay the shipping back to yourself we will donate the item to a local charity.
